Originality: I don't really see much Native American magic artwork! Mostly it's Medieval or video game sorcerers, ect. So this artwork is nice and refreshing.

Technique: Your coloring is phenomenal! Absolutely phenomenal! You take so much care to color the glow of the fire on his gloves, and muscles and hair. It adds a whole new dimension to the artwork!

Also, the bird is incredible. Maybe it's just that I can't draw animals, but I'm always super impressed when people can draw and color animals like that with such ease. (or apparent ease).

I also really like your style with the fires in the forge. It's really pretty and rather entrancing, the way the colors seem to merge!

That being said, your anatomy and perspective needs a little work, mainly with the arms. His left forearm is much longer than his biceps. I believe you where trying to create a bit of perspective, but in this case, it didn't seem to work as effectively as you might have intended.

Similar to that, the right arm looks like you want it to look bent, but it doesn't look that way. I would suggest looking at stock images (such as SenshiStock, or other similar deviants), or even looking at yourself in the mirror to understand how these poses should look. It will take a while, but slowly, you should improve!

Lastly, the torso seems a little...off. I think the pecs and the abdominal muscles should be higher up on the body. If you look at actual pecs/6-packs, it's actually higher up on the body.

But all in all, it's really good, especially all the coloring!
What do you think?

That looks great! I like that is realistic and yet it looks like something on an ancient tapestry!

This is my opinion so you can disregard what say if you want. The vibrant colors are nice and the lighting along with the hair, but you should focus studying on anatomy.

-The bottom of the pecks are very low and don't seem natural. if you raise them a bit they would look nice, don't forget the six pack.

-Maybe angle angle the head a tad bit down.

-The obliques shouldn't show up as much, not as much as a man's six pack. they often show up when the person is very bulky but even then they show up a little bit but are still noticeable.

-The arm on the left seems a tad bit awkward, I can't say.

again study anatomy it'll improve your work immensely and don't be afraid to use reference photos!

good luck and have fun!

More contrast might be good. Especially some darker tones maybe, in the skin of the man? Otherwise he kind of blends in a bit with the hawk.
